Elite Marketing Options has been in business since 2003. Our first marketing projects were for the area chambers. We
published magazines for special area events like the Old Tyme Apple Festival and Hillbilly Fair. Elite also produced a
Vacation Travel Map for the west side chamber members.
As the years progressed, we looked for other ways to benefit the area businesses. We began brochure distribution in
2006. We have brochure stands all over the Lake area. We provide distribution to some of the largest companies at the
Lake of the Ozarks. Clients like Big Surf Water Park, Jacobs Cave and Sugar Creek Mini Golf have been with us since
the beginning. Every year we contact printing companies to get new and more competitive quote on rack card printing.
We print 20,000 of each businesses rack card and we print 10 to 12 a year so we are able to get a cost effect price to
pass on to our clients. We also provide free design to our clients.
To keep up with technology (and to fill the winter hours) we invested in website design courses. EliteLakeOzarks.com
was designed in 2006. This site is to promote our clients & in general the Lake of the Ozarks. Any business participating
in any Elite Marketing Program is listed on our website for free. We also provide listings to businesses that host our
products, stands, billboards, etc.
Once our site was built, clients starting asking for our website design services. As we learn new "tricks" we try to apply
this to all our sites. Elite will also help you to set-up Wordpress Blogs, Facebook, YouTube & Twitter Accounts. We
encourage all our clients to partake in these free services. They can greatly benefit your business.
In Jan of 2009 a client of ours called to inquire about us starting an Indoor Billboard service to the area. So after
research and an investment we had 7 locations to begin the 2010 season. We currently have 12 locations. Our
reasonably priced billboards gives our clients thousands of views during the season.
We provided magnetic gift cards to City Grill in late 2009. They are coded to their cash registers and keep track of
purchased and used amounts. Since then we have provided gift cards and frequent diner cards to Dog Days Bar & Grill,
Wobbly Boots & Shorty Pants Lounge.
For the 2010 Season we provided a yearly supply of Keycards to all the local hotels. Any hotel in the Lake of the Ozarks
that uses a keycard to unlock their doors has a keycard provided by Elite Marketing Options with The City Grill & the Blue
Room Night Clubs advertisement displayed on the front and back of the card. This greatly increased the amount
exposure the City Grill receives from out of town visitors.
This year (2011) we have developed our first smartphone app for the iPhone & Android. We have only been marketing
the app since Memorial Day Weekend and have already received approximately 3,000 downloads. With changing
technology we feel more travelers will be using our GPS driven app to find the businesses at the Lake. We named our
app Lake of the Ozarks to help with the overall promotion of the Lake. To assist in the marketing of the app we have a
Mobil site that detects the users device and gives them a direct link to their market or app store for the download.
On June 10th we held a Launch Party for the app at the Topsider in Osage Beach. We garnered 300 downloads from
the party and the live radio remotes
